Le journaliste béninois, spécialiste en économique se présentera à nouveau devant la Criet le 10 décembre prochain. Le procès qui devrait se tenir ce 10 août a été reporté à cette date.
Pour une énième fois, les juges de la Cour de répression des infractions économiques et du terrorisme (CRIET) ont encore reporté le procès du journaliste béninois Casimir Kpédjo. Selon le journaliste contacté par nos confrères de Bénin Web TV, ce report est dû à l’absence de la partie civile et de l’agent judiciaire.

Pour rappel, le journaliste est accusé d’avoir diffusé de fausses informations sur l’économie du pays dans les parutions N°126 et 127 de son journal « Nouvelle économie ». Son arrestation remonte au 18 avril 2019 ouvrant ainsi la voie à une bataille juridico-médiatique. Il a été certes relâché après sa garde-à-vue, mais des organisations de droits de l’homme et Reporter sans frontières dénoncent un tel traitement infligé au journaliste.
